Seat belt mountings
With all the discussions about mounting seat belts to bars across the roll bar, and whether to weld bolts, weld through tubes, etc, etc.
Why don't people just use loops?

You would have to prove the loops were stitched to current British Standard.

They come off the shelf, just like safety harnesses.

Common sense says that this method puts less strain on the belt fabric than the narrow bend going through the usual bolted in anchor plate.
Unfortunately common sense and the little men in grey seemingly have no relationship.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
