'Book' Seats
Has anyone ever bothered to make the seats as shown in the haynes book?
Laser cut, folded and welded steel or aluminium - kinda like a budget version of the Kirkey items. just wondered what the result was like? No mention
of thickness in the book. Do we think 2mm alu would be stiff enough?

Rorty recommends 2.5mm for his (which I suspect were an inspiration for the Haynes ones).

Ive got a couple made from ali. They came up too small for my fat arse so they are sitting in the garage.
