Anyone used 'Type R' cheap dash gauges ?

I have an acewel digidash but I am thinking of adding oil pressure & voltmeter auxilary gauges.

Has anyone used the 'type r' gauges from ebay, they are about £10 delivered from hong kong but I wanted some idea of whether or not i will be wasting my cash on such cheap gauges.

I bought some cheapish gauges from McGill Motorsports gthey look fantastic at night but are a nightmare to read in the daylighte they are the smoked type which light up with the ignition, I am changing mine for some standard black and white gauges

I was planning on getting the white faced standard type analogue gauges that have a blue backlight.
A chum fitted one of the smoked gauges on a turbo fabia & said exactly the same as you.

Same here I had one of the smoked gauges and it was not great.

I've got ones like now:

S2 Universal 52mm Oil Pressure gauge supplied with 1/8npt Sender | eBay

They are better and only cost a bit more:
