Capri column/wheel

Ive used the column/wheel from my Capri donor and the steering wheel is the type with the collapsable doohickey as part of the wheel itself.
Does anyone know if you can still get a smaller wheel with this type of fixing or should I go for an alternative column.
Cheers,
Bob

most aftermarket adaptor bosses for everything but the classic 3 spoke chrome mountney efforts incorporate a collapsible element.

don't know if thats sufficient, but its a thought

Very iffy SVA wise, it was considered iffy even when Ford switched to this system back in the early 70s midway through Escort Mk1 production. As I recall they had to get a dispensation from the DOE to use it after about 1976.
The regs state the actual column has to collapse.

(Dispensation on some safety regs were also given to other cars that were considered a nearing the end of production such as the Hillman Hunter)
