Who makes a good dash blank??

I was gonna make my own dash but with summer closing in and time running out I thought i might part with some cash and get another job out of the way quickly.

So, the question is who makes a good dash blank??

I have an MK Indy but am not too keen on the MK dash with the bit going all the way down to the tunnel in the middle.

I think Mac#1 make a nice carbon one and their customer service is second to none so I might go for that.

Has any had any experience/photos of the Mac#1 dash or others?

Thanks,

Doug.

Why not make your own? Dead simple, all you need is a 'laminate floor' panel. Lay scuttle on it and draw round the shape, cut it out and cover with vinyl. Took me 2 hours, start to finish.

Marcus,

I think garage wants the correct radius on the bottom too without spending lots of time achieving it.

Prob. right.
Mine passed SVA last year with good old pipe lagging covered in vinyl and 'permanently glued to the bottom of the dash. The 'permanent' bit lasted a few weeks until I ripped it all off and re-covered!
