Seaqt covering material/interior covering

Afternoon all!

I'm in the process of planning ahead (for a change) and I am looking for a decent material to use for covering my seats and interior of the car. As it is open top, and I intend to use the car daily, I'm after something that is fairly resilient to the British climate.

Waterproof/non absorbent and non rotting is essential, and nice to sit on would be good too! For the seats it will be sewn into shape to fit tightly over a foam seat and plywood backboard. The interior I am intending to fasten it to panels using press studs, and use a 1mm foam (laminate floor underlay) layer for apdding.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them! If I can pick the stuff up at Stonleigh this year, that would be good too!

Cheers
Andy

Dammit! Too many decisions....

I bought a piece of charcoal leather look upholstery material off ebay for about £15. When it arrived it was big enough to make a car cover out of . Good quality stuff too according to my mate who does bike seats.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
