Fabric shops are the best source for velcro
My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.

But the habadibberydashery (sp) stuff has only got lightweight adhesive. You need the industrial grade stuff from CBS.

B&Q super store sells all sorts of pads, tapes, strips in various widths.
Might not be cheap I guess but at least you can buy what you want.
I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.

Thanks, went to B & Q in the end, not at all cheap, but it was a good excuse to take the tiger out for a spin today in the sunshine.
Is it me or is B&Q starting to sell everything ? They seem to have toasters, toys, bikes and all manner of other non DIY stuff for sale today ?
(Maybe just a Christmas thing ?)

Nope, they are getting quite diverse lately. My most popular lines are their alloy extrusions and nut & bolts ...... can't think why
