seat hoop/rollbar padding

Part of my SVA fail today was the use of foam pipe lagging on the roll hoop/seat headrest. It was cable tied.
The tester wanted to see "a recognised car interior material or the Foam covered in a proper finish."
I am either after a vinyl/leather finish sleeve for 25mm or a custom made seat cover (the seat is part of the chassis). Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
Martin

If the roll hoop/seat headrest is more than 2.5mm then ditch the foam!

The problem I have is that the passenger is seated behind me and the hoop now constitutes a dashboard, so must be padded

Just looked in the Demon Thieves cat. and they do s/adhesive FIA app'd 915 mm lengths in 38 or 45 mm diam - looks to be self-skinned but not cheap (suprise) @ £25/length. Also have you looked at Rally Design ? Cheers, Pewe

Just had a thought. What about windsurfer padding?
It must be waterproof etc.
(by the way the hoop is 25mm dia)

Why not just get some vinyl cut to wrap around it and secure it with impact adhesive?
Paul.

Why not turn the back seat into a boot area for the SVA?
