steering coloum sorround
Looking through previos post on steering coloum sourrounds i am still none of the wiser as in what to do , i have a sierra coloum , does any body have
any ideas as to what to use and plans on how to make a coloum sorround

Why not use the Sierra column surround? You could make an ally one but it is a lot of work - why re-invent the wheel (surround)

We made a cardboard template to cover the area between the original column shroud and the dash. We then cut and shaped a piece of aluminium, covered
it in vinyl and held in place with a couple of self-tappers.

Hellfire - that's uncannily like what I have done I used the side of a cornflake box to make my template With a small pilot hole in the
plastic surround, the self tappers work really well.

I chopped dwo nthe top end of mk2 escort - I have no lower half.
AFAIK, nothing behind sterring wheel is tested at SVA - just excess wieghtin my opnion
