893cc 'blade clocks template
Hi all,
Its time to mount the blade clocks to my carbon fibre dash.
I have seen a template for the later 919cc clocks, but was wondering if anyone knows of one for the earlier 893cc clocks with the warning light
module similar to a 'bright 6' (as 'Worx' has fitted to his car?)

Easy enough to make one, pencil, sheet of paper and a pair of scissors job done, but how were you planning on using the speedo as on the early
blade's it is cable driven ?

Agreed, the early 893cc blades used a mechanical speedo but the the later 893cc (RRS ) clocks use an electronic speedo with the pickup being located
under the engine's chain cover.
I tried making my own template, but its very difficult to get it totally accurate due to not being able to completely trace around back of each clock
and hence there's some discrepancy in centralisation.
Being a carbon fibre dash, there's no room for error if I want there to be no discernable gap around the circumference of each clock once
fitted. Just thought, perhaps, there might be a suitable template floating around that I could've used?

I'm sure we still have a template for the 893 blade clocks, just drop me a U2U with your address and I'll see if I can dig it out and get
it posted to you.
What year is your blade engine? The earlier speedo pickup which is located on the sprocket bolt can be modified and made to work very well.
