Temp Dashboard

Hi
I have a carbon fibre effect dashboard which I do not want to use until after the SVA. Therefore, as a tempory measure would it be acceptable (for SVA) to build a dash from 6mm ply covered with foam backed vinyl and a lower trim (taken from the the door shut of the Sierra) along the bottom to give it a radius. The switches and dials will be placed behind the steering wheel.
Cheers
Barry

As long as it meets SVA requirements you can do what you like afterwards!

It doesn't have to be padded but the edge / radius requirements are more stringent it its solid.
