seat mounts
Ive come to mounting my seats but cant find anywhere in the book with description how to mount them. I was just going to make 4 tabs to weld on to the
chassis rails but the mounts on the runners are a good 100mm in from each side of the chassis so would worry about them bending.
How have others mounted their seats?

There so many different ways to to do it. You just have to come up with something you are happy with. Ive got Elise seats so mounted the front of the
runner through a 19mm piece of square bar and the rears are just through the ali' floor with spreader bars underneath.

Mounted mine on some 50x4mm thick strip plates welded across the chassis and spaced front to back to correspond to the holes in the seat runners I
bought from Merlin Motorsport.
