Racetech Mirror Mounts

I see that Racetech sell two types of mirror mounts as accesories. Does anyone have any experience of them?

Pillar Mount
Swivel Mount

If either are worth having for either the side mirrors or the central position I shall invest.
Thanks.

Ive got the pillar mount ones to fit the mirrors to the windscreen posts using one of the windscreen fixings.

The only thing is that to get the mirror angled right you need to bend the arm or make a new one (easy as its just aluminium bar)

Not fitted yet but could take a pic later on if you like.

Also you might find them cheaper in demon tweeks.

Ash.

Thanks Ash. Do you think the second mount potentially helps with the 'angleing' issue?

Tim,

Pics below....

Mount fitted to the screen

Standard Racetech Arm.......

New Arm bent to right shape....

I think the swivel mount ones are a bit overpriced, the pillar mount ones suit me fine as the fixing is hidden for nice fuss free finish.

Ash.
