Just buy some carbon fibre sheet from someone like Carbon Mods and make it yourself, you can trim the edges with ali angle etc.

Or do what I am doing: buy the carbon fibre cloth, spread some epoxy over a piece of ally covered in wax, lay on the CF, spread more epoxy, lay up
fibreglass over top, more epoxy (two layers of FG ought to do it), cut and trim (NOT with scissors, with a hack saw) and that's it, that's
all.

you make it sound so easy. im a welder/fabricator by trade so although i can make anything i like from steel or ally ive never had much success with
fiberglass and resin.m.

Have you looked at Carbon Mods website?
Also, might be worth contacting "Triton" on here - he makes seats, dashboards etc in GRP and CF so might be able to make you something.

Honestly, I am the most useless person on here - just go back and read how much frustration I have vented over the past year and a half - and if I can
do this, anybody can. You do need a warmish temperature, so the epoxy is a lot better to do inside because it doesn't smell.
