Suitable Seat - Opinions
I have just been speaking to a guy from Midland Wheels Supplies about seats for my car. He has told me about a seat that is 41cm width at the base.
See link below;
https://www.midlandwheelsshop.com/view_product.php?product=BCUB
£130 per pair.
What do you think of it?

I have these in my car (without the headrests).
I was put out a bit when I first saw them, as they really are small - I have 30-50mm gap on each side in my car! However, when I sit on them they are
comfortable.
I do intend to replace them in the distant future, probably with a pair of Cobras, but they'll do until I get through the SVA.
Don't waste your money on their seat runners, though... they are rubbish - I had 2 sets, and neither would run fully in and out (there was a
fair bend in them). Mass-produced Chinese rubbish, at a guess.

Sorry guys, i have just done a search and realised that these seats have been discussed before.
From speaking to the guy i got the impression that they were new to the market!!!
Anyway, if anyone has any opinions or alternatives, roughly within that price range, then great.
Cheers

MK's seats are good - GRP and come in a number of colours/finish's.
Runners aren't bad either... with a bit of jiggery pokery!

I've just been looking at similar seats on the MWS site, they've got a bit of a sale on at the moment. Anyone used
these (link) with any success? Just sent an email off to them to see how
big they are, need them to fit in my Indy after all.
MK's seats are good, very comfy too, but cost nearly twice as much as these.

no need for runners at SVA. Just bolt em to the floor.

I've bought these seats from MWS and they arrived yesterday, very pleased with them.
I asked the guy for 'seconds' and he knocked 50 quid of a pair, for 'shop-soiled' seats, the only thing i can find wrong is a
tiny nick/tear about 10mm long on the side of one seat.
They are actually surprisingly comfortable with adjustable headrests.
It makes sitting in the half finished car, making engine noises, all the more pleasant
Well pleased, havent grinned like that since last Sunday night (isn't football great!!!).
Cheers
By the way, i am probably going to live to regret that football comment.
