Anyone used these GRP bucket seats before?
I'm looking to get the the maximum space possible in the Formula 27, and having had the pedal box moved fuither forward, I'm thinking
about changing the seats for something thinner.
Here's the link- I need to keep the budget down, so £70 per seat seems ok

Any thoughts?
I like the idea of DIY compact foam padding stuck on to them- has anyone got any links to template ideas?
Thanks in advance

I've got them. There's several makers now copying them but the original where Triton I think. Easy to fit (base mounting via captive
nuts). Compfy on long runs. I've just got camping mat cut to shape, held by sticky backed velcro. Get some brown wrappig paper and play about
cutting templates untill you're happy with the shape, then transfer to the mat.

Great, thanks- I was thinking about a camping mat, glad to hear it works! Have you got any photos of your seats in the car and the padding on? Thanks
