Fitting handbrake trim ring
I have a bit of a problem with fitting my handbrake trim ring. It is held down by 6 bolts through the top tunnel cover, but there are lots of chassis
rails in this area and some of the bolts will interfere. The car is an Indy, has anyone else had this problem and how have they got around it?
Cheers
Pete

I bought a small plastic handbrake trim ring from Europa. Used 4 screws to hold it to the tranny tunnel. Works OK. There's probably pics on
my website somewhere.
All the best

It's the bolt at the front of the trim ring that is causing the problems, there is a chassis rail exactly where I need to bolt through

or as its not really a structural piece just bolt/screw it on with the holes that are ok to use, and glue the head of a matching bolt in the correct
place on the unusable holes, looks ok from the outside and no one will be any the wiser
