Dashboard's
Hi,
Is anyone aware of someone/company that does pre-fab dashboards or can build one to requirements for a tiger cat e1?
I just dont have the time to put one together currently.
The Tiger website contains a dash but not for the older cat e1.
Thanks, Matt

Having done a few (never happy with them) now, I can tell you that by the time you trim the top bit, drill the holes for mounting it, you may as well
make it from scratch. MDF or ally (bend around a broomstick for the lower IVA radius requirement) is pretty simple. It is really simple, very cheap,
and pretty satisfying.

As above, Very satisfying job! I'd recommend having a crack at it, use the dashboard post on here for inspiration

I recently made mine, was quite happy for a first go, it's a blatant copy of Zetec's dash
Cheers

The lower edge, that has to be radiused to 19mm for your IVA. You bang it round the broomstick as you might over a telephone pole or a welding bottle,
for the bonnet. You can heat it up to make it easier. I really mean it, and I'm not one of those enthusiastic positive people, generally. I
started knowing absolutely eff all about this sort of thing (although I did take metal work in Grade 10 in 1974), and have no special hammers or
equipment.
Some things you can do on these cars that are not generally noticeable, and are just needed (wiring for example), but this isn't one of them.
You can spend 150 queenies or 5, and sometimes the look is not a lot different. I don't know how anybody cannot be inspired by some of the work
done by some of these posters on here though. Very nice.
Mine covered in vinyl.
