hi seat belt mounts

hi just wondering if anybody know the thread size for the mounting points????

and which way do they bolt on i've got a couple of dome washers.

I used eye bolts on my Mnr, and just clipped harnesses onto them

Standard thread size for seat belt mountings I believe is 7/16 unf.

As said standard thread is 7/16"UNF . It's common to have a shouldered spacer and a wavy washer, normal assembly is place the washer on the shoulder then the belt fitting and put the bolt through to clamp the spacer between the belt anchorage point and the belt fitting. The wavy washer stops any rattling about, I doubt it serves any other purpose

Maybe of interest to you is that I have Willans harnesses which as stated have a 7/16 mounting hole but that's it. There's no space for the mentioned spacers to allow the belt to swivel.
