Black faux leather with the foam on the back.

Hey I am looking for some for my dash. eBay only has 5m of the stuff. I need 1.5m x 0.5m at most. Anyone got any good links? Anything else I could use that looks ok?

2nd vote for dunelm mill, i paid £7 for a piece big enough to do my vespa seat with enough left over to do my dashboard, the vespa has been used since march in all weathers & still looks like new .

Give a man a fish & it will feed him for a day, give him a fishing rod & you've saved a fish.

Failing that, you can always glue scrim foam to the back of normal vinyl (contact adhesive in a spray can works well).

is scrim foam reasonable firm? I want to make some bench type seats so was thinking i could use this for it over some softer foam as padding?

I made a toy chest for the front room, to match the leather sofa I bought the fake leather from Dunelm as well as a two inch block of seat foam. The seat foam itself is quite firm, I'm not sure I'd want anything firmer on top.

The good thing with Dunelm is that they have the foams all stacked up with the different grades, and you can put them on a flat surface to 'try them out'.
