Any tips on a making a foam race seat
As above.

Bin bags, 2 part foam and a helper. And Wear a really really long t-shirt or wrap some kitchen roll around you like a mummy- the foam has a habit of
escaping and heading down your builders crack or sticking to hairy backsides. Which hurts when you try and get out.

I've got a litre of each and heavy duty bag which is apparently 2 cubic feet? Hopefully that'll be enough! I don't want to be
sliding around in the tub.

One piece tyvec suit works well.
Tape covering up the sides (out and in) of the cockpit, sit on a bin bag filled with foam. Pull a beer and sit until the foam sets.
Make sure that you can depress the pedals(!)....
Remove yourself, trim seat where needed and cover in tape.
You must be quite thin!!!!! I wasn't a 17 stone lard arse, but the fit in the standard Force tub was quite snug without a seat. I sat on a
camping mat glued to the floor and the rear bulkhead. Shoulders were difficult, the tub was quite narrow at that point.

Don't use bin bags they split.
Use a bivvy bag from a camping supplies they are much tougher.
Oh and get at least another mate to help

Make sure you measure it exactly, also worth coating the set mold with some resin before you tape it up or it may change shape after a while

How do you stop your backside from sinking straight to the floor and leaving no thickness or strength in the seat base?
