Does the key need to stay in the switch at the bottom to drive it? Is this SVA friendly (would a key sticking out constitute a projection??)

Looking good. Yes the key must be fitted if the car needs it in place to drive, and then it will be tested.

Very nice, how did you design it so that there are no bolts/rivets showing through the front? Captive nuts?

I used zetecs idea of countersuck bolts covered with filler to stop them spinning and anti-vibration washers with wing nuts.

The lights and switches were already on the car when I bought it, so cant say where there were from or how much, sorry.
