Dash Ideas,

Hello people,

I need to make a new dash, due to a cock up with the original. The steering wheel is offset by aabout an inch and a half.

This is the one that's in

I don't know whether to go for a similar design or try something different.

Are there any nice dash designs out there?

Cheers

Chris

I really like the dash you have. How did you form the raised bit in front of the driver? It really is good to keep instruments in front of the eye and incerase the area you can put toggles and other SVA unfriendly items.

I'm worried you might not get your head through the door of the pub next week Chris, but I agree it is a good looking dash so why change the basic format?

Gee thanks chaps! **blush**

The scuttle on my car is steel so I beat and wheeled the panel into shape. You could get the same thing in Fiberglass with a bit of effort. It does stop the sterring wheel obstructing the instruments.

The radio's gone BTW - I was accused of having homosexual tendancies by the Yorkshire lads - Even having the heater is tantamount to holding a "coming out" party!

You've inspired me - I'm going to make it similar, with the switches tidied up, and few little tweeks.

Cheers

Chris
