Were can i get some padding for my seats?
Hello all
Were do you get that thin black sponge type padding for the GRP seats
I think its about 10 mill thick,Black in colour and i have seen it cut in allsorts of shapes and bonded onto the seats.
I recently saw it in a pic somewere and it looked like a skeleton spine.
Thanks

Camping roll mats. Just need to find black ones, they tend to be wild colours!

These are relatively cheap.
If you always do what you have always done you will always get what you have always got

Paul fisher bought some pre - made ones for his recent MK Indy R. You could ask him GRP seats.
You could ask him

Think you're remembering the pads team Hellfire made.
The 'proper' stuff is neoprene (used in wetsuits) but camping mat is the cheap and cheerful alternative.

i want one just for my headrest, only for when tracking the car and wearing a lid; dont want it banging against the seat.
What'd be the best route?

Cheapest would be a good thick mousemat.
Can get them with your own design printed as well
Otherwise a cheap wetsuit (lidl had some a while back) would yield some suitable material.
