parts costs

has anyone else noticed that prices for the parts we need for our projects have gone up by quite a bit in the last year?

Illustration:
Schroth harnesses were £119 +vat in the 2008 demon tweeks book and now they are £139 +vat in 2009.

This could be currency fluctuations as I believe schroth are american but in this case adds £40 to the cost of goods!

Anyone else noticed changes?

Steve.

Oh it is, making/modifying is almost free, it's "assembling" a kit-car that costs

So, have the imported ar manufacturers put their prices up, to keep their profits coming in - or will we be able to suggest that as they could afford to take a 30% hit in the currency rate, that they can afford a decent discount when Euro depreciates again.

On the flip side, can anyone abroad let us know if Jag, LR or AM have likewise reduced their prices?
