Cockpit trim
I need something to put along the top chassis rail of the cockpit for SVA. What is usually used and any ideas on where to get some would be
appreciated. I haven't managed to find any trim wide enough so far.
I also need a piece of perspex for my dash - about 15" X 6". I don't really want to buy a huge sheet from Wickes. Again, any ideas
on suppliers of small pieces appreciated.

you can get small pieces from ebay or try a local sign maker

For trimming the chassis rails you can use 1.5" plastic waste pipe avaiable from B&Q. If you cut a split in it length ways it clips tightly
over 1" square box. Cheap and cheerful.
OR
Find a piece of U shaped aluminium extrusion which is a good fit over the chassis rail, glue velcro to the inside of the channel and the top of the
chassis. Trim the exterior of the extrusion with vinyl. Bit more classy.

with Stoneleigh coming up get along there if you can as there are usually at least a couple of stalls selling alumnium extrusion.
I bought some last year, it's 25mm wide with a semi curved top profile and finished the top railes at the sides of the cockpit off a treat
