cobra seat copies

I've noticed seats advertised in mags and on ebay that look identical in appearance to the cobra, EG:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/COBRA-STYLE-BUCKET-SEATS-KIT-CAR-WESTFIELD-CATERHAM-7_W0QQitemZ140313966528QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM? hash=item140313966528&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

They come in at half the price, but are they any good? Anyone got them in their 7?

I've got some spare Cobra Roadsters if you wanted some.

I'll beat the eBay price as well.

U2U sent.

To be honest the ebay ones look half the price too, much better to get the real things I'd take Worzey up on his offer!!

as others have said the ebay ones look like garbage compared to the real deal.

i would suggest not skimping on seats as they can be the difference between enjoying the car and hating the car.

I must admit to have been looking at those seats to buy, so I am please to see some feedback about them.

Also I believe these could be the same seat, please correct me if I am wrong.

I admit that the idea of a soft seat did appeal to me but want to stay away from foam and cloth covering because of rain.

Looks as though I will need to reconsider and look at fibreglass seats and use a bit of padding.

Cheers

Adrian

There was a stand at last years Peterborough show selling them , they looked very poor quality. Wonder why Cobra haven't done them for breach of copyright ?

I have a set of the cheap cobra copies fitted, they are comfortable and work well but are cheap copies.

Cheers for the replies sounds like they are best avoided then - the slack looking material in those pics was concerning me which is why I posted.
