how do I restore a ruber car seal?

Some of the rubber seals on my car are starting to show signs of age. What stuff can I put on them to rejuvenate them? I've just been to Halfords for something else and what met with blank stares.

why, did you ask for a bleeding nipple?

Back to black trim cleaner is good for rubber seals though in the past it was recommended to use chalk or talcum powder

One seal looks a bit crazed on the surface but is sound underneath. A few of the others just look a bit tired. I'd heard there was something that would make the seals supple again and generally halt the ageing process for a while.

If you can find some try Amorall, an American product which protects and renovates all manner of seals etc.
HTH.

Frosts sell some stuffs that you can paint on and other stuffs that allows you to copy original ruber(?) part by taking a mould then using the sutffs, it comes in different hardnessessesses too - but only in black.
