I seem to recal at the beginning of the year someone talking about a tour of France.
I did a search but couldn't find it.

Did anything come of it ?

That stuff's AWFUL, we had somthin similar here in the 80's. Caused mayhem with carburetor's n such.
Spent a bit of time looking for an image showing typical gasohol carburetor damage.

There's a few places round here that do it, just a case of looking at the pump!

The nearest I've got to confusing petrol and diesel is not long after I got the current car, a year ago I was hiring one that looked exactly the same but had a petrol engine. A couple of times I had to double check but never put the wrong one in

I cocked up day dreaming I put a gallon of denzil in my petrol sierra...what a dork! But as daft as it sounds it seems to run better now
