ok cool, do you get them from a supplier of some sort, like to order, or do you just get get them fall in your lap so to speak?

They fall in to my lap,

basically when they are removed from service as serviceable I get to take them.

Just being honest, so I charge what I think is a fair price (£15 as £5 is on post) and sell them

I've had 5 and they all sold here

cool what are they off of? my problem is i've got no bulkhead or anything high enough i can attach it to. sure i can sort some kind of bracket though.

i'll try and send you a photo of my engine bay at some point, and if you get one suitable, let me know

where's the thread of the last ones you had?

tanks? or jet fighters?!

yeah, those last ones would have been good. still wouldn't have been the easiest to fit, but there's ways around that

do header tanks have to be highest in the system? or are they not too worried about that?

Preferred to be high but in all honesty they are a sealed pressurised system so I dont actually know why, however i would still keep it higher up

i could always try it on the spare bracket i've already got, and then move it if it needs to. i guess if its not hight up you end up with an air lock somewhere else, like the cylinder head or radiator?

Quite possibly, the header tank acts as a swirl pot so a good reason.

When one of the guys that bought the style that may suit you get them ask them to measure for you ??

The posted in my other for sale thread, I think its called bits and pieces but its by my username and recent so should be on page 1 still.

here's my engine bay

there's points to put a strut brace, i might just bolt some kind of bracket to that.

measuring would be great thanks

My tank just arrived, many thanks YODI
Dimensions:
Dia. 100mm
length. 150mm(body) 220mm inc. fittings
Bottom barb 15mm, top barb (banjo) 8mm.
Comments: very well made, the cylinder is billet alloy machined from alloy tube, with superb TIG welding.
Mounting should be a doddle, 3 internally threaded TIG welded studs + 2 small angled brackets.
I am guessing Aerospace, and sticking my neck out, DIESEL Aero Engine
