Locost Owners Club magazine (What's this?)

I've been trying to sort out some seatbelt mountings suitable for inertia reel belts and came across
www.karting.ukf.net/TheRoadCarPage2.htm.

When discussing his seat belt fitment he says "inspiration came from the Locost Owners Club magazine, where a excellent system was published".

Does this magazine still exist or does anyone have a copy they could scan?

John.

No - there was a Locost Owners Club, and it did have a newsletter. It did have some good tech tips in it too, occasionally.

Both club and newsletter long gone, sadly.

Thanks

Thanks for that, it's exactly what I needed.

Incidentally, do I need to buy new belts or could I use ones from a doner vehicle provided they're in good condition? If so any idea which doners might be suitable.

I did read in an earlier newsletter that people were using rear seat belt inertia systems, possibly because they are less used in non family cars

I didnt "do them up" just incase i had to make a quick exit.

Remember overcharging hot battery and a distinct aroma of fuel from the two buckets bolted to the inlet manifold
