Update

Havnt posted an update for a while so managed to get some pics in the dark this evening.

Off side panel fitted

Dash finished (the bulges at the bottom are to be doubly sure of passing IVA radius)

Behind dash wiring (needs tidying)

Painted scuttle with mirrors fitted (paint job not too good but looks fine from three or four feet)

Lack of sump clearance. At the moment it is only 1 1/2" but when i fit shocks to is, it should go to 3 1/2" and ^ 1/2 to the chassis rails.

How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

see you are making progress!

once summer comes around you need to push it outside because ive only even seen it from various close angles, its like a jigsaw. ETA - take it back, didnt see the last photo! looking good

I was going to post a whistle stop picture thread this evening of my build, but not sure whether to wait until the "look i've almost got it started but it doesnt work!" milestone in a fortnight or so

"just seems to me" this is all about a hobby, not a race.

I presume of course that you're scratch building with some fairly major modifications, fitting a unique powerplant and designing alternative bodywork while studying and working?

A friend and exbuilder once said to me:

"Don't be too strict with your deadlines because it's not how fast you can build but how fast you can spend"
