Fixing MK Dash

Hi all, trial fitted my dash yesterday.....nervewracking it was to cutting all that shiny polished GRP. Only one bit of damage when hole cutter juddered at start when cutting column hole.
Anyway, fixed DigiDash and Savage switches, attached to scuttle and all appears good but it is very flexible when pushing switches. What have others done to strengthen it.
It's an MK dash.
Will post piccies later.
Thanks,
Matt

Just had a quick browse at your pics, I notice you have used silicone hose to conect you TB's to the inlets, Don't do do it! silicone reacts with petrol, Samco tell you not to use their hoses with petrol. I have some 2" hose from here, www.auto-performance.co.uk

My savage switches are at the bottom of the dash, near the tunnel, I fixed a L shaped bracket that stops the dash moving backwards when it flexes, but it isnt fixed to the L shaped bracket so doesn't stop me removing the dash/scuttle easily.

Since that pic I've changed to some Yellow Oil/Ffuel Resistant Hose for the TB's. They only act as a link as there's a steel manifold underneath that butts up directly to the TB's. Thanks though...I'll take a pic later.
