which seats?

is there a relatively lightweight padded seat available for 7's? i have had the grp seats in a bec but foud them very uncomfortable. was after something with a bit more padding, but still lightweight and narrow enough for a 7. is there any other car seats which may fit eg elise, exige? these seats can be second hand as my budget will not be huge. thanks

I got some made out of Ali, and whilst very very light, and not padded at all, it wouldnt stop you putting some foam padding on the seat.

Cobra roaster 7 seats are what I have got and seem popular although not cheap unless you can find a set of secondhand one for sale.

If you're cheap like me they're cheaper in blue, red or white piping Linky

That said, refer to my other post today in THIS thread.

Intatrim seats sound like what you want, more expensive than some but you can usually get them cheaper at shows.

Their website appears to be down at the moment

www.intatrimtelford.co.uk/

Europa sell them if you want to see what their range looks like and has the sizes.

https://www.europaspares.com/SEATS/INTATRIM_SEATS/

p.s. Flat bottomed GRP seats are uncomfortable but Tritons are very comfortable even over long distances.

I'll second that, very comfortable compared to GRP/carbon seats.

i had the intatrim endevour in my last mnr and here was far too much flex in the seat for my liking.and not very comfy either. the oddesy look a bit more stable but for that price i could almost get second hand lotus exige seats.
