Stack mechanical oil pressure gauge

I tried fitting this over the weekend as i want to make sure i have good oil pressure on the new engine install

now in hindsight i should have gone for a electrical gauge as removing the dash will be a pain as the nylon oil feed has to run through it hoo hum!

anywho with the fitting you have a nylon tube and 2 ferrules one each end, and the 1/8npt fittings. i fitted the engine side all ok but when i tried to feed the nylon tube through the ferrule at the other end, it wouldn't go through as if the ferrule was slighty to small.

so called Stack today to ask them for advice, got someone who didn't really have a clue, so i suggested maybe i different ferrule might work, mine could be out of tolorence, oh we don't keep spare parts... eh? then he said i'll ask some peole here and call you back in 1hr... never called back....very poor from stack, they make some very nice stuff but seems advice then don't do

rant over!!

It seems you got the grumpy guy who works there. I've spoken to him and came to the same conclusion. The other guys are good though.
