Do i need holes in the seat?

Hi Guys.

Just a quickie.. do i need to cut holes in my seat for the harness?

I'm asking in regards to IVA.
My shoulders come to around the same height as the shoulder bits of the seat.

Cheers,
Andy

I would say yes, they dont test with your height. He might be shorter and would say the harnesses are forcing down on the seat.

Are the top harness mounts at IVA height? Look a little low

i can't see any reference regarding the height of the anchorages in the IVA manual though.
also couldn't see anything regarding how my harness is at the moment...

See Section 31 Seatbelts. Page 3 has a diagram of the upper anchorages.

that did help! i was looking in the anchorages section.... duh!
but in terms of where the belts are going, i guess that it's down to the IVA man to decide?
