Painted.....finally!

How do all.
Finally got to see my Spire GTR painted up. Pick it up tomorrow from the body shop. Green, not everyone's cup of tea i know, but there will be graphics on it as well. I'm going for the Jag F1 look from back in the day when Jag were actually in F1.

Wheels and interior looking a little dusty from all the body prep process....but its looking good!!

Awesome colour

Do you intend to get bigger wheels? They look a little small on the car!

Looking at the positive camber on the rear wheels maybe there is no engine in it.Once weighted the wheel will fill the arch better.Cracking colour,TVR launched the Sagaris with a similar colour.

No. Dont intend getting bigger wheels.

I do however need to get all the ride height and suspension set up correctly. Because of that, your right, the wheels do look a little small.
Having said all that, the fronts are only an inch or so from fouling the headlights underneath the bodywork so defo cannot go bigger there. Maybe once the suspension and ride is altered i may look to go bigger on the back. Watch this space.

Might just be the angle.

Going to be a very striking car to see out on the road

Not sure how i will negotiate potholes and speed bumps though. Front ride height is supposed to be 100mm and back 120mm or something to that nature once set up.

Is that the 'Jaguar Racing Green' they did on the F1 car and the XKR... bit hard to tell on a photo. If it is, then that and Kawasaki ZX12R green are probably my two favourite colours!

You'll have to put your 'leaping cat' graphics going up your air-hood and include some red!

looks excellent

I was going for a Maclaren look, what with the RedBull, the marlborough maclaren look one and Wheezy's Gulf one, we could make up a grid.

I like it a lot, although I think it needs graphis to finish it off, but I assume you're already doing that!

Looking good Ed. If you need any figures for camber, toe, ride height etc just let me know. I can give you some base lines to work from.
