Best way to trim dash blank ?
should have my new dash blank today, and just wondered whats the best way to transfer the shape of the cuttle to the blank before cutting it ?

I would suggest using card or thick paper and cut to size

card 100%
if you have a look at my pictures... i made my own dash from card and then wood and fibre glass.
paper or thin card is near impossible to do.
getting the angle right is a pain but i found that the outside angle and corner was the same as the inside so i used the outside of the scuttle as a
guide then cut the card into two left side and right side then stuck together to get the width correct.
hope that makes sense.

maybe we need a locost template which we can print out and use....

Did mine with a piece of scrap hardboard.
I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.
