Sierra Brakes

Are most people happy with the Sierra single pot calipers on the front?

I was wondering about a bit more stopping power and maybe 4 potters

Am I right in thinking Sierra cosworths have 4 potters and if so will they just bolt straight on?

sierra cossies only had single pot calipers on but i believe with a larger piston and larger discs.

as ever though i could be wrong.

surely though the standard equipment is enough? obviously i'm only working on theory here cos mine has never even turned a wheel but surely the issue with braking is going to be weight to keep traction under braking if u get heavy handed with it?

Standard brakes well up to the job, 4 pots lighter and look good! Standard stuff well up to anything you can chuck at it on road or track. Just out of interest Dax have standard single pots on their 350bhp V8 demo car.

4 pots better as lower unsprung weight and may offer a better "feel" as you can select type and bore size to suit your car.
