Help me secure my dash
Hi guys
I have looked through all the posts in this section and not actually come up with an answer for what I need.
How have you guys secured your carbon dashboards to your cars?
Also, what edge trim can I use to go over the top of the carbon around the edges?
Here are a couple of pics, the carbon is 2mm thick and there is a decent enough edge on the car to secure it too.
Thanks, Yodi

Mine is not strictly carbon, but GRP covered with Di-Noc.
I have used a rubber u section trim around mine for 2-3mm thick panels and it looks quite good, fixings will be allen key stainless button head screws
with rivnuts into the scuttle

I found some on ebay, my carbon is 2mm I might go for the 1-2mm, I can hardly see the screw heads in your dash other than the centre one

Motorcycle fairings screws and rivnuts work quite well for fixings...also available in a variety of colours...

Alternative fixing method
I wanted as few screws as possible visible on my playskool dash so I devised a method of fixing from behind. The dash is bonded on to a 1.5mm alloy
plate the alloy plate is then bonded on to some of the fixing brackets with Polyurathane adhesive.

I can supply more details.
