under the dash cover
Ok,
I have built a car, so why is such a simple task as making a cover for under the dash so flaming difficult. I spent hours on it and still can't
get it right.
Tried making a paper template, one from fabric, one from vinyl, one from pretty much everything I could get my hands on and nothing works. I need it
to be simple and just cover everything under the dash. AAAARRRRGGGGG
Will try again tomorrow before giving up completely.
Small rant over.

How much are you trying to cover under the dash? I made a couple the other week from thin aluminium that cover enough to protect all sharp edges but
are small and simple enough to install fairly easily. They tidy the area and will blend in nicely when I get them powdercoated.
They are only fixed at one end with the other end resting on the bottom lip of the dash. It's under a bit of tension so won't vibrate. The
only tricky bit was drilling and installing rivnuts upside down.

Did exactly the same myself, a good way of covering things up.
