Buying a washer?

We need a new washer (to do the clothes)

Whats the crack with going into Curry's and getting a discount?

The one we are looking at has already been slashed £30 down to £299.. reckon I can get another 20 or 30 off with cash and mentioning the net?

Slim to none tbh.
The shop will have a discount target for the whole shop which tends to be used for giving a month free on the product support, to get you to take it. Paying cash is of no interest to them, same as the net unless you find it cheaper elsewhere for price match

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I saved £150 a few years ago, buying a new TV, just by saying "pricewatch"

but I don't know if that works now

Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

Used to work for currys. Had loads of people that offered cash, the price never changed.

Buy online through quidco to get cashback. Look out for voucher codes too.

Currys and the like dont actually want your cash. For them cash is a hassle, ie it has to be counted, taken to the bank etc, they would much rather you use a card. As already said online is the best bet unless you can get them to price match.
