JK Composite seats
Well... going to order the Seats tomorrow (sold pretty much everything hanging around in the garage to fund them)... As usual started off with the
base price and with the floor mount for runners and the Carbon headrests (well you've got to) I'm pretty much skint... The question is do
I stretch that bit further and buy the seat pads or are there other options that people have bought? There are some on ebay for the Caterham seats
that are leather for the same price as the Vinyl ones from JK... Less hassle I guess buying them with the seats and they will at least be sure to
fit....
any advice?
thanks

Lucky boy, they certainly are smart.
I was on kitparts direct or something yesterday and they sold seat padding. 25 quid a set.
not bad I thought
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Isn't camping mat the usual budget option?

I've got the pads on my JKs - they're trimmed and look probably better than you could make at home, but functionally I think they're
just bits of foam at the end of the day. So I guess it depends how important the look is. They are a pretty visible part of the car though, and
quite a big part of the look of the seats as a whole. I'd probably go for the pads over the carbon headrest tbh as they're far more
visible.
According to my one 70mile journey so far, to IVA, they are quite comfortable BTW.
