Zx9 e engine now swapped onto a c engine!!!
I dont beleive this topic hasn't been done before!!
I've been happily running my zx9(beleived to be a c1 engine) formula 27 for quite a while now. It got a bit wobbly so thinking it wasn't
going to last I bought what I thought was an "e" engine off ebay and got my incredibly handy/skilled bike mechanic to fit it. Turns out I
had an e engine and this is a c he's just fitted. He fitted all the TTS performance bits from the "old engine onto my new "c"
engine. Is there any difference? I know the gearbox is meant to be stronger but any bhp difference? Ive still to drive it!

No noticeable difference in performance between C And E.
Gearbox better in the E.
E doesn't have a cam sensor, so ecu and loom plug are different.

didn't think it was as quick in 1st/2nd......i'll have a go and report back tomorrow!!!

My ZX9 C1 pulls well al the way up.
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

I got it back tonight. Its alot smoother and the gearbox engages so much better and more positive but its not as manic as the last engine! My friendly
mechanic is stripping down the last engine as it appears that it must have had a few performance bits on it!
