Stick on mirror
The interior mirror that I fitted for IVA did pass, but only because the tester didn't stray from smooth tarmac
or go over 20 mph.
On the road however it vibrates so much at 40 mph or over, even on an A road, that the only info is supplies
is the general colour of whatever's following. i.e. red blur, blue blur, etc.
My son Gaz is scrapping a Mk II MX5 and I couldn't resist a prod with a screwdriver to remove it's mirror
from the windscreen. It has a double ball adjustment joint so IMHO is perfect for a Seven.
Thought I'd share.

I retained my donor mirror for exactly the same purpose, glad to hear it's a success!

I wasn't allowed a donor.
I had to buy bits from the scrappy and hide them until they were clean and painted,
then I bought the chassis material ready polished.
Even then the wife would ask me what I had bought that load of rubbish for.
