seat fixing
hi all
i've a MK indy , but i don't know how to mount/fix the MK GRp seats.
I want them as far back as possible.
any tips, ?

I made a couple of brackets for mine out of plate. 3mm aluminium would do it. You could profile them or drill them to lighten them if you want. A
basic sketch not to scale or anything just to give an idea. I used button head stainless bolts to fasten through the seat with a washer to spread the
load.

I used stainless box section with threads tapped into one side which you screw bolts into from below the floor, and for the seats drilled a 8mm hole
all the way through, and then opened up the top one to 12mm so a scoket head bolt can pass through and then into the base of the seat

How come you guys seem to be able to use side mounts? My MK seats came with the nuts moulded into the base.
