Baby Cub Seats
Has anyone else used Baby Cub Seats in their cars?
I have some ready to go in my Avon but I`m having trouble fixing them in!
On the Avon the seat rails are too close together to meet up with the fixing points on these seats. I can`t just fix them to the aluminium floor as
this would not be strong enough, but I also dont really want to start welding supports in either.
Any suggestions?

I have a pair of baby cubs in my car - but I didn't fit the rails as they were rubbish! I just bolted them to the steel floor, with great big
washers behind.
Mine are right up against the rear bulkhead anyway, so the floor fixing is less important - if I hit anything frontwards my seatbelts will hold me,
and if someone hits my back then the bulkhead will stop me!

Hi
I have just fitted Baby Cubs in mine.
Same way with large 45mm / 3mm thk penny washers.
M 8 socket heads, came with seats.
Or if you still want to use existing adjusters, why don't you make a transfer plate in say 5mm .Drill to suit seat holes and 2nd set of holes to
suit adjusters. The hard bit is bolting them together!
Have a look in my photo's

Sorry to hijack slightly...
Whats the weight of baby cubs compared to something like the full GRP seats that MK/GTS sell? Also wheres the best place to get them from?
Cheers,
David

I don't know about the weights but the best place to buy them from is,
Midland Wheel Supplies.

They are £150 -00p a pair!+ Carriage.
Hope that helps.
