Ply thickness for seats.

I have finally admitted to myself that I will be going with the seats as in the book. Tested to see that my wife can reach pedals and steering wheel if I put a booster cushion behind her.
What thickness of wood sheet are you using behind the foam for the seats?
Thanks
Dale

It doesnt really matter, as long as its reasonably rigid and thick enough to staple to/bolt to the chassis. Would have thought 8-12mm would be about right.

The plywood dosen't need to be very thick but you will need to add beam strenth by using battons particularly at the top Lotus Seven back rest was actually adjustable --- too crude for words typical Chapman minimalist.
