I have had both Monaco`s and Clubmans in the past and found that the Monacos offer a lot more side support for hard cornering, but the clubmans have a
LOT more padding on the seat base. The Monacos were great for trackday stuff and short blasts, but any length of time in them left my ass feeling
dead, to tyhe point where i started carrying a cushion of foam in the car for extra comfort on longer stints. The clubman was a nicer seat to sit in
for any length of time.
In a mini, the clubmans were a nice fit. the monaco`s would also go in but might look a little crowded.
I have never tried the low-back classic jobs, but they look very nice imo.

OMP RS seats. Had the same pair in every Mk1 Escort I've had. Yet to see if they'll fit in a +4 chassis, but if they don't
they'll go in my next project.

I had a pair of modified MG Metro seats in my Mini. They still tilt forward for access to the rear and look smart but they must be getting rare now.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

aye, bothe the monaco and clubman wont allow access to the back. You can get tilting sbframes for them but they are too tall and hit the roof before
allowing a big enough gap to access the back seats. iirc the lowback buckets can be tipped enough to get into the back.
Pretty much anything can be fitted to minis though, I couldnt find a nice set of MG metro seats, but did find a very nice pair of Recaro`s from an
escort RS turbo, which went in with a little bit of modding.

When thinking outside the box doesn't work any more, it's time to build a new box

Rally design has an excellent range for these seats.

agreed on monacos having little padding on the base. its like sitting on a plank of wood with a towel on it
decent seats for racing about though.

you can get them from minisport. I think thats a pair of tilting ones pictured below the clubmans in the first post. They bolt to the standard seat
tilt point on the floor crossmember.
