Fitting seats

Just about to fit my seats to the Indy and wondered how others have done it. The drivers seat has universal runners and the passenger seat will be fixed.

Just wanted to know how easy it is fitting the runners?

ta,
Rich.

It's easy enough fitting the runners to the seat. It's altering the mechanism to get it to operate in a 30mm gap that's the problem! A handy bicycle wheel spoke comes in handy I can say. Mounting the seat to the floor braces is a bit of a challenge too... be prepared for it not to be so easy, is all I'm saying!

We're considered putting them on our drivers seat... but then again....

Have a look at the website on the original build as we aren't up to that stage yet on the rebuild. cLiCk mE

I trial fitted one of the seats today and I assume I will need some spacers where the bolts go into the seats otherwise the round bit where your ass goes is the lowest bit so I guess I need to raise them up on spacers.
